Looking for somewhere to play after Turtle WoW?
Turtle WoW and Stormforge closed their realms on 14 May 2026. Keldurn is not a copy of Turtle's custom content: it is the original 1.12 world at x1 rates with a new way in, from a browser tab, a phone or a Windows client.
Is Keldurn a good fit for Turtle players?
It depends on what you miss. If you came to Turtle for the vanilla world itself, with slow levelling, dungeons that need a real group and the long road to 60, Keldurn offers that world on one persistent PvP realm with classic rates.
If you came for Turtle's own additions, such as new races, custom zones or reworked classes, Keldurn will not replace them. It keeps the 1.12 rules and removes the installer instead: create an account on the web and play from a compatible browser, phone, tablet or the Keldurn Windows client.
What matters before you start
- Original 1.12 content with x1 experience, drops and reputation, and a level cap of 60.
- One PvP realm shared by browser, phone, tablet and Windows players.
- Free to play: the optional shop never sells items with stats, experience or gold.
- Characters do not transfer from other servers, so every player starts on equal terms.
What changes when you move
Characters, gold and items from other servers do not carry over. Guilds that arrive together start at level 1 like everybody else, which keeps the economy honest for players who join later.
Keldurn applies classic 1.12 rules rather than custom balance. Hunters still manage ammunition, riding still begins at level 40 and dungeons still reward preparation, crowd control and a full party.
Start in a few minutes
Create an account on the web or continue with Google, then choose a character. On a desktop browser the first visit downloads and prepares game data; later sessions reuse the browser cache and start faster.
Phones and tablets get a touch layout with movement, camera, targeting and action buttons. Run the browser check on the Keldurn guides if you are unsure whether your device is compatible.
