Warmane: three Wrath realms, three different paces
Short answer
Warmane is one of the longest running Wrath of the Lich King servers, on the 3.3.5a client. It has three main realms: Icecrown, a fast x7 PvP realm; Lordaeron, an x1 realm with the random dungeon finder turned off and tougher raids; and Onyxia, a progressive realm that moved from vanilla through The Burning Crusade to Wrath at x5.

Pick the realm, then the server
Warmane is less one server than three, and the realm you pick changes the experience more than the name on the website.
Icecrown is the fast lane: x7 experience gets a character to 80 quickly, and the endgame of Icecrown Citadel and Ruby Sanctum is the focus. Lordaeron goes the other way, with x1 rates, no random dungeon finder, so groups form in cities and chat, and raid encounters tuned to be harder than the originals. Onyxia is the progressive realm: it began in vanilla, moved through The Burning Crusade and is now working through Wrath, with Ulduar opened in April 2026 and Trial of the Crusader in July 2026.
What to know before you commit
Warmane funds itself with a coin store that sells services and some items. Read what the shop currently offers if gear purchases bother you. Some realms see queues at peak hours, and the 3.3.5a client must be downloaded separately.
The community is international and English is the common language in chat.
Compared with Keldurn
Keldurn is a different expansion: vanilla 1.12 at x1, before Northrend, death knights and the dungeon finder. If Wrath is what you want, Warmane's Lordaeron or Onyxia will suit you better. If you are curious how the game felt before The Burning Crusade, Keldurn runs in a browser with nothing to download.
