Dalaran-WoW: Wrath progression at x1, with the brakes on
Short answer
Dalaran-WoW is a Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5a server whose main realm, Algalon, is progressive and runs at x1. Raid tiers open in order, and heroic difficulty is gated behind progress on the normal tier, so the realm moves at a deliberate pace. It suits guilds that want Wrath raiding to last.

Progression on purpose
On many Wrath servers every raid is open from day one and the race to Icecrown Citadel is over quickly. Algalon instead releases tiers in order, from Naxxramas onward, and asks for progress on normal difficulty before heroic modes open.
The aim is that each tier stays the main goal for long enough for guilds of every size to clear it, rather than only the fastest few.
Who it suits
Algalon suits raiders who enjoy steady progression at x1 and can commit to a regular schedule. It suits less if you want max level in a weekend or prefer a realm with all content already open.
The website sits behind protection that can slow the first visit; the realm itself uses the standard 3.3.5a client.
How to start on Dalaran-WoW
- Create an account on dalaran-wow.com; the first visit may show a browser check
- Install the 3.3.5a client and the realmlist from the site
- Choose the Algalon realm
- Join a raiding guild early, because the realm is built around organised progression
Compared with Keldurn
Keldurn is vanilla 1.12 at x1 with 40-player raids, playable in a browser. If Wrath raiding is your goal, Algalon is the better fit; if you want to see the world before Northrend, try Keldurn.
Questions players ask
Are all raids open on Algalon?
No. Tiers open in order, and heroic modes require progress on the normal tier first.
What rates does Algalon use?
x1, like the original game.
