RavenCraft: Turtle's last patch, under a new name

Short answer

RavenCraft is a Vanilla+ server that opened on 22 August 2026 on the Medivh realm. It says it is built on Turtle WoW's final 1.18.1 patch rather than an older leaked version, and it continues the Mysteries of Azeroth content with High Elves and Goblins, installed through its own launcher, IchaLaunch.

One of several Turtle successors

Turtle WoW's closure in May 2026 left a large community without a home, and several projects now offer its content under new names. RavenCraft is one of at least three separately branded realms sharing the Mysteries of Azeroth project, alongside OctoWoW and Capybara Paradise, each with its own site and launcher.

RavenCraft's main claim is its starting point: Turtle's latest 1.18.1 patch, which includes content that older clones built on leaked files do not have.

What you get, and what to weigh

Players get Turtle's additions on one realm, Medivh: High Elves and Goblins, custom race and class combinations and extra character customisation, installed and kept up to date through IchaLaunch.

As with every Turtle-based project, the legal ground is uncertain after Turtle's court settlement, and the people behind RavenCraft have published little about themselves. Play for fun and avoid spending money you would regret losing.

How to start on RavenCraft

  • Download IchaLaunch from ravencraft.io
  • Let it install the 1.18.1 client and your addons
  • Create an account with a new, unique password
  • Log in to Medivh and pick your race

If you played Turtle, expect familiar zones and quests; your old characters are not there.

Compared with Keldurn

RavenCraft is for players who want Turtle's world specifically. Keldurn offers the original 1.12 world at x1 instead, with nothing to install: it runs in a browser and on phones.

Questions players ask

Is RavenCraft run by Turtle WoW's team?

Nothing published links it to Turtle's former staff. It presents itself as a separate project using Turtle's last patch.

Do I need a special launcher?

Yes. RavenCraft uses IchaLaunch to install and update its client and addons.
