WoW-Mania: Redemption, a Wrath PvE realm since 2015

Stability as a feature

Few private realms survive more than a few years. Redemption has been online since February 2015, which makes it one of the longest continuously running Wrath realms. For players who fear losing their characters to a sudden closure or wipe, that track record matters.

It is a PvE realm, so open-world PvP happens only when both players opt in.

Rates, VIP and languages

Experience runs at x2 by default and can be lowered to x1 for a slower pace. An optional VIP subscription adds conveniences; read the current VIP list on the site to judge whether anything in it matters for competition.

The website is translated into seven languages, and chat is mostly English with groups in other languages.

How to start on WoW-Mania

• Create an account on wow-mania.com in one of its seven languages
• Install the 3.3.5a client and set the realmlist
• Keep x2 or slow down to x1
• Decide later whether VIP is worth it for you; it is optional

Compared with Keldurn

WoW-Mania suits PvE players who want a settled Wrath realm. Keldurn is vanilla 1.12 at x1 on a PvP realm, playable in a browser or on a phone, with its site in many languages.
