Sirus: Wrath of the Lich King, rebuilt

Short answer

Sirus is a Russian-language server on the Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5a client that adds a great deal of its own content: five custom playable races, HD character models, The Burning Crusade dungeons reworked for level 80 and solo arena queues. Its realms run from Frostmourne at x1 to Sirus at x10.

More than a Wrath server

Sirus keeps the 3.3.5a client but changes a lot inside it. Five extra races are playable, character models are replaced with higher-detail versions, and dungeons from The Burning Crusade return in versions scaled for level 80, which gives max-level players more places to gear up.

PvP gets a solo queue for arenas, so you can play rated matches without a fixed team.

Realms and language

Four realms cover different speeds: Frostmourne at x1 for a slow climb, Scourge at x2, Neltharion at x3 and the Sirus realm at x10 for players who want max level quickly.

The website, launcher, support and in-game community are Russian-speaking. Players who do not read Russian will find it hard to follow announcements and rules, so factor that in before you start.

How to start on Sirus

  • Register on sirus.su
  • Download the Sirus launcher, which installs the custom client and HD models
  • Choose a realm by speed, from Frostmourne at x1 to Sirus at x10
  • Try a custom race if you want something the original game never had

A browser translation tool helps with the site, but expect in-game chat in Russian.

Compared with Keldurn

Sirus suits Russian-speaking players who want Wrath with many additions. Keldurn keeps vanilla 1.12 unchanged at x1, with a Russian edition of its site, and plays in a browser without a launcher.
