Keldurn

iPad and tablet play

Classic MMORPG controls designed for an iPad screen

An iPad provides more room than a phone for action bars, chat and world windows. Keldurn adapts its controls while keeping the same characters and realm used on desktop.

Why tablet play is different from phone play

Keldurn's tablet layout preserves touch movement and camera controls but can allocate more space to the canonical game UI. Fine pointer input takes precedence automatically when a mouse or trackpad is present.

The browser client still runs locally through the web runtime. There is no remote Windows PC that must stay switched on, and progress is attached to the Keldurn account rather than the device.

What matters before you start

  • Tablet and phone layouts are selected independently.
  • Touch, compatible keyboard and fine-pointer input can share the same client.
  • Characters remain available when returning from desktop or another device.

A practical iPad setup

Landscape orientation gives combat actions and chat more horizontal room. A current browser, reliable Wi-Fi and adequate free storage improve the chance that the initial cache remains available between sessions.

A keyboard or pointing device can make chat and precise UI work more comfortable, but it is not required for the basic touch path. Keldurn never assumes that an iPad exposes desktop-only fullscreen functions.

Start once, continue anywhere

Account creation and email verification happen on the same web surface. After a character is created, the account's faction choice is retained for subsequent characters and sessions.

When the browser keeps its versioned cache, returning sessions avoid much of the cold transfer. If Safari removes site data, the next entry behaves more like a first visit and should show loading progress clearly.
