About Molten Core
Molten Core is the first forty-player raid of the 1.12 world, a lava-filled cavern at the roots of Blackrock Mountain ruled by the Firelord Ragnaros. Lieutenants guard each part of the core, and fire runes must be doused before Majordomo Executus will summon his master.
On Keldurn, Molten Core follows the rules of patch 1.12 with x1 rates, so preparation, consumables and a coordinated raid matter as much as they did then.

Enter Blackrock Depths and travel to the window that looks into the core, or use the teleport from Lothos Riftwaker in Blackrock Mountain once your character is attuned.
Before the first pull
A raid of 40 needs a plan before the first pull: assign tanks and healers, bring consumables and learn each encounter first.
- Every raid member needs the attunement before the first pull.
- Fire resistance becomes important for Ragnaros; collect it over several weeks.
- Dousing the runes with Aqual Quintessence is required before Majordomo will appear.
