About Zul'Gurub
Zul'Gurub is a twenty-player raid in the jungle temple city of the Gurubashi trolls, where priests of the blood god Hakkar prepare his return. It arrived in patch 1.7, and its reputation with the Zandalar Tribe gives every class a set of rewards to work towards.
On Keldurn, Zul'Gurub follows the rules of patch 1.12 with x1 rates, so preparation, consumables and a coordinated raid matter as much as they did then.

Before the first pull
A raid of 20 needs a plan before the first pull: assign tanks and healers, bring consumables and learn each encounter first.
- Kill the five high priests before Hakkar to weaken him.
- Several bosses take on an animal form; save cooldowns for that phase.
- Gahz'ranka is summoned by fishing with a Mudskunk Lure at the right pool.
