About Scholomance
Scholomance is the school of necromancy hidden in the crypts under Caer Darrow, an island on a lake in the Western Plaguelands. Its classrooms and laboratories are run by instructors who teach the arts of the Scourge, and its headmaster, Darkmaster Gandling, waits at the centre of the school.
On Keldurn, Scholomance follows the rules of patch 1.12 with x1 rates, so the run still rewards a balanced group, crowd control and a careful pull.

How to reach Scholomance
Take the road to Caer Darrow in the south of the Western Plaguelands and cross to the island. The crypt entrance is inside the ruined keep; it needs the Skeleton Key from the quest line.
Tips for a first run
Bring a tank, a healer and three damage dealers, and agree on loot rules before the first pull.
- Complete the Skeleton Key quest before you travel; nobody can open the door without it.
- The six room bosses around Gandling must die before he appears.
- Bring shadow protection and cures: many students curse and drain the party.
